Library, College of Agriculture Padannakkad conducted One day National Workshop on “AI Tools for Academic Writing: A hands on Training” on 14th March 2024.
The programme was started at 9.30 AM. Dr. V P Ajithakumari, Programme Coordinator & Assistant Librarian, COA, Padannakkad, welcomed all the dignitaries and participants.
Dr. T Sajitha Rani, Dean, COA Padannakkad inaugurated the function. Dr. Mini P.K Professor & HOD, Dept. of Agricultural Engineering, Dr. Sreekumar K M, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Entomology and Dr. Nidheesh Assistant Professor& GC Member, Dept. of Soil science were gave felicitation.
The inaugural function ended with the Vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Nisha Raj, Professional Assistant, COA, Padannakkad.
The resource persons Sri. Prasanth M, Librarian, School of Folklore Studies University of Calicut, handled the sessions on Literature review using AI tools, Analyzing research article using AI tools, In-citation and reference generation using AI tools, Paraphrasing using AI tools and ethical guidelines for using AI tools. Total 70 persons including Faculties, Research Scholars and PG students participated. Feedback from Students and faculties was good. The session ended at 5.00pm.
