This laboratory has a facility for conducting UG practicals. Some instruments like muffle furnace, Water bath, Hot plate, Shaker and Distilled water unit are maintained in the laboratory which are helpful for carrying out UG practical classes. The laboratory has facility to accommodate 25 students of a batch. There is an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) placed in AAS room near to the Soil Science Laboratory

Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS)
Is an instrument for the quantitative determination of chemical elements using the absorption of optical radiation (light) by free atoms in the gaseous state. Atomic absorption spectroscopy is based on absorption of light by free metallic ions.
