One day workshop on "Climate change and its impacts with special reference to Kerala" was jointly organised by ENVISHUB KSCSTE and College of Agriculture Padannakkad at COAP on 25/03/2022. Workshop was inaugurated by Prof Venkateshwarlu and chaired by Prof. K.P. Sudheer. Dr. Mini PK, Dr Sreekumar K.M, Dr Sujatha R, Dr. Vanaja T and Dr. Harinarayanan were present during the occassion


Department of Agronomy in association with college students union, with the financial  support of ‘Haritha Kerala Mission’ has celebrated the ‘World Water Day’ at College of Agriculture Padannakkad. The inaugural session was presided by Dr.R.Sujatha, ADR Coconut Mission and inaugurated by Dr.Mini.P.K Dean CoA Padannakkad. Specially Invited guest Sri.Kunhambu(who has created more than 1000 Surangams(Horizontal Wells) in the northern region of Kasargod District to solve the water crisis) was honored by the Dean Dr. Mini.P.K.

Satyanarayana Beleri is a farmer- turned- paddy conservator of Bellur a small,quaint hamlet located in the district of Kasargod, the Northern most part of Kerala bordering Karnataka.


Final year RAWE students visited the field, identified the pest and diseases of various crops and recommended the remedy measures


NABARD-KfW Soil Project conducted training on Micro Irrigation & Fertigation in collaboration with College of Agriculture Padannakkad on 22.11.2021. Farmers from Banatpadi, Cheripadi, Kunjar, Mugu & Pettikundu Watersheds participated in this.
